Wrea Green Field Day

The event is so very English and brings together the whole community. The village children partake in a fancy dress competition and the festival queens from the surrounding area attend to process around the village green. A fairground is set up and the whole village green is alive with noise and colour for two days before returning back to its normal genteel self.
